Let me tell you how I was referred to PowerUpHosting.
I started a thread few months back, on few problem I was having with the VPS hosting I was using during that time.
ugjunk posted in that thread, describing how bad the company I was using. (im not going to type the name). And He explained how good his services are and argued with the BHW member(from that hosting com.) who were replying to the thread.
So I was basically hunted by this "hosting guru" for a $45/month VPS.
Here are the specs:
3 CPU
30GB SSD Space
3GB DDR3 Dedicated RAM
Unmetered Bandwidth
They advertise "Unmetered Bandwidth", but they do meter in our control panel.
For the first few days, VPS was fast, internet was fast.
After that, I was waiting 20 minutes to download a 5MB file, from a direct download link from my mediafire premium account.
And I had to spend 10x more time to do simple tasks, it was like using a Pentium 2 computer.
Yes, I did open support tickets for all the problems I faced back then.
I DO NOT recommend anyone to buy these crappy VPS from PowerUpHosting. No matter how well he's posting on your threads, how well he explains his services. Everythings crap and junk. Just like his username, JUNK.

He will be the FIRST to reply to a thread, which thread owner has a buying attitude for a VPS. Or first to blame a competitive hosting company.
