    Most People tell sitewide Backlinks have no more power than one Backlink from the Domain. I think that's a really nonsense? How google should evaluate sitewide links? When this conclusion of those people is correct, which link is counting for SERPs? I can't agree with that.

    I think we should forgive the OP's broken english and provide answers. I also wonder about this. Why do webmasters pay for sitewide links? I see it all the time.

    How should I interpret your answer? Do you think sitewide links work better than one homepage backlink?

    It's likely all down to the IP.. many backlinks from many IPs give super link juice goodness. Many backlinks from same IP = much lesser extent. Sitewide links are still good to have, and I'm sure that a sitewide link of 1000 pages is going to be more use than placing the link on 10 pages. Logically, it would make sense for their to be some kind of limit though.

    Nobody really knows for sure but it might be the case that after (for example) 100 links from a same domain they stop getting taken into consideration. e.g. 100 might give some juice that 1000 give.

    *edit* Sorry didn't mean to resurrect an old thread - forgot I had done a search :-/

    G is not a fan of sitewide links
    Take care - the site might get penalized by G for using sitewide links

    Site wide links definitely work especially if the internal pages have PR. I have seen sites rank high with 1 good site wide backlink on a domain where the home page is PR6 and then the category pages are PR5 then the internal pages have PR 2 or 3 on some pages. 1 sitewide link gets all these links and definitely works. Think of it this way a site wide link is just like a banner that is placed on a sidebar or footer and Google loves it.

    You can also create your own networks and use some PHP code to get something more powerful than sitewide links.

    STEP 1: Create several autoblogs that promote themselves (look for an autoblog guide, there are many on this forum)

    STEP 2: Install on each blog a wordpress plugin called "Post Layout"

    STEP 3: In your post layout settings put this code in one of the locations (I suggest the top location)

    PHP:
    <?

    $randomtext_text = array(

    "Your 1st Targeted Keyword",

    "Your 2nd Targeted Keyword",

    "Your 3rd Targeted Keyword",

    "Your 4th Targeted Keyword",
            );

    $randomtext_urls = array(

    "Your 1st URL",

    "Your 2nd URL",

    "Your 3rd URL",
            );

    $sizeoftext count($randomtext_text);

    $randomtext = (rand()%$sizeoftext);

    $sizeofurls count($randomtext_urls);

    $randomurls = (rand()%$sizeofurls);

    $bold = (rand()%3) == 1;

    $italic = (rand()%3) == 1;

    $h1 = (rand()%10) == 1;

            if(
    $h1 ) echo "<h1>";
            if(
    $italic ) echo "<i>";
            if(
    $bold ) echo "<b>";
            echo(
    "<a href='$randomtext_urls[$randomurls]'>$randomtext_text[$randomtext]</a>");
            if(
    $bold ) echo "</b>";
            if(
    $italic ) echo "</i>";
            if(
    $h1 ) echo "</h1>";
            echo
    " ";
    ?>
    Just replace the keywords array with your keywords, you can put as many as you want and also replace the URLS array. You don't need to have the same number of keywords than the URLs.

    What it will do is pick one keyword randomly and use it as anchor text to link to one of the random URLS in ALL your posts.

    If you setup good autoblogs you can very quickly have thousands of pages link to your selected URLs.

    Oh just wanted to add that sitewide links, despite what some SEO say, are EXREMELY effective.

    I have recently been outranked by a website for one of my money pages and the webmaster was using almost only sitewide links from 1 single domain. No need to say that I have got my rankings back after finding this (#1 and #2) :D

    Cool Vita Vee! :)

    Taking the competitors strategy and using yourself is a good trick.

    I only regret that I wasn't bold enough to use my competitors strategy for my last campaign, and the result was that he got the number 1 position for affiliate sales. :(

    I won't hesitate next time... ;)

    Sakuragi, as long as you don't take my strategy to outrank me I think it's a good thing to do :)

    Yup, I'm chasing down a guy in the top spot right now for a crucial keyword who has the majority of his links coming from only two sites - both sitewide links.

    I believe G still looks at a link as a link more often than not.

    @manolo12399 Yes right, you just have to copy this code in the post plugin setting. Oh I forgot something you will also need a plugin to execute PHP code, like this one:

    Code:
    http://www.zehnet.de/2009/02/25/wordpress-php-execution-plugin/

    @angelas111 Thanks :) My PR5 in 20 minutes thread has been moved to Jr VIP section, I wonder why I haven't been upgraded at the same time :/

    @businessbira Thanks ;) To subscribe you just have to click on the "thread tools" above the 1st post and you will find the option there (in a drop down menu)

    @gonzomcribbinz Are the links expensive on those 2 sites?

    My guess is that he owns them. I've tracked down a lot more of his link network as well. He's pretty good, I'll give him that but he does leave a nice trail to follow as well. I'll have his spot within the month.
