Power full backlinks

Quality not quantity, I think on here (currently trying T-ranks), the main ones are T-Ranks and the wolf network.
 
in my experience its super difficult to measure what is a powerful backlink. You will always have people throw in buzzwords or metrics. But in the end all those metrics are easy to manipulate. Most bought links are in link farms with manipulated metrics. In the end it only matters what Google thinks of your link, but they make it hard to measure which links have which impact on purpose, to make gaming the algorithm harder. I personally value organic traffic, organic traffic value (harder to manipulate) and UR on the PAGE level where your link is placed. Is that the best way to do it? No clue. But I rather use metrics that show Google values a page than a third party tool metric.

Hello, guest posts on high DA 90+ are gold with an niche related article with backlinks using proper anchor text (not using keywords you are currently ranking for)

Care to elaborate a little on this? Does "not using keywords I currently rank for" = "not using keyword I want to rank higher for (even if it is a ranking keyword)"?

It's best to not use keywords you are trying to rank for as anchor text for backlinks I have been told. You can do it here and there but it could raise flags with Google if you do it too much. I tend to use alternative keywords like synonyms for my anchor text on very high DA backlinks or niche relative keywords.
