The Substratum team are basically trying to build a decentralised internet that governments can't control. I have been keeping an eye on it for a while due to it being a possible way to mask PBNs from Google. With all the Net Neutrality buzz over the past day or so it also occurred to me that they have the potential to allow users to access domains that ISPs wish to charge for without the need to pay.
I recently sold my Substratum to pickup more OmiseGo and Ethereum but I am considering purchasing more if the Net Neutrality thing gets through congress and goes live. The main problem I see is the team behind it arnt the best at keeping their community upto date or marketing.
Just after some other peoples opinions on it
