Potential Client Wants to Send 150k Emails a Month?

So normally I deal with services like mailchimp and aweber for my emails but... I also don't normally deal with email lists this huge.

My client's list is suppose to be 100% opt-in but I pretty much doubt that a lawyer manage to get so many legit opt-ins.

Anyways, mailchimp and aweber want to charge me outragous ammount for something this big. I have heard alot of interspire but unsure exactly involved.

Any suggestions?

pay for SMTP service and use that server in vps php script.. unlimited volume, most things like aweber or mailchimp aren't made for this sort of list size.. idk why he'd want to do a list that big i'd be better to direct market to a niche then just knock on doors.. he should make a list of 2,000 with extremely high conversion rate and focus on them as elite clientele instead of blasting 100k++ people, just my musings..

Currently his list is 150k of real estate niche type clients. Which makes me think he just bought the list (being a lawyer and all)

If anyone else has any other suggestions, let me know. If I was going to use interspire anyone have a guide on the best way to use this for a list this big?

Hmm this might be the solution I was looking for, I have a face to face meeting with him tomarrow. I should be able to find out more on if he is telling the truth, how he got the list, etc. but he assured me its all legit opt-in addresses.. /shrug

Mailchimp charges about $700 a month for a 200k list, which isn't outrageous at all, it's nearly a bargain. That said it sounds like garbage data that will get you banned from pretty much any ESP or ISP in mere moments.
