Where would be a good place to try marketing that product. Instagram ads or Facebook ads? I’d assume posture correctors appeal to an older audience.

Facebook and Instagram both have the older niche.

However, this is not the case. People in their 20s and 30s need it too. ( i need one, My gf needs one. Actually, whoever I showed that ad to wanted one ) so in a nutshell. I'd say split test with the interests by ages ( Choose Age groups as a variable )

My personal experience was people from 30 to 49 were most likely to buy the product.

Stay away from IG, Newsfeed only...
He's absolutely right. if you want to test IG, Use IG influencers for testing the ads ( Micro-Influencers ie pages ranging anywhere from 40 to 80k with good engagements )
if you are solely going to run ads on facebook then do newsfeed only.

I tested with 1 instagram influencer. Got about 50,000 views the ad was kinda shit. And only couple people bought it. I’m goin to Facebook now and I hope I can get more success on there.

50,000 views resulted in how many sales?

probably not to many if hes saying it wasnt good. plus the posture corrector is an outdated niche .. id say stomach flatteners is the best niche atm

Posture correction thing that you wear has been promoted for several months now. Recently I saw @ Dropship Spy a posture correcting roller thingie that stays on the floor.

Posture correctors are never outdated. People will always have back pain and these type of products are problem solvers for them. While some demographics might be over spammed by FB ads offering same product over and over again and seeing new product in same niche might be as they say some fresh air.
