Posts on link farms

I see several services on bhw and much selling of services on FB groups that claim to be genuine guest posting but are really posts on link farms.

So the content on these link farms I was considering purchasing from is actually pretty decent however it always has these characteristics.

Articles are short 500-800 words

Every article has a do follow link to an authority website and do follow exact anchor to someone who has obviously purchased a link.

Website looks good, has healthy inbound links and a social following.

How safe do you think these links are? Would you point them to your money website?

They are as good as your searching skills are. I have hundreds of such links pointed to my main websites. With a little bit of logic, IQ and good English skills, you have gold mines.

I'm not following 100% but it sounds like you are quite a frequent user of these types of links. I guess there is no way you can be manually penalised as Google can't prove you purchased the link..

They don't have to be able to prove it. They are judge, jury and executioner. If you are manually inspected and your backlink profile is full of obvious paid links then they are going to assume (probably rightly) that you are responsible.That is a big IF however. And you can get out of their manual penalties, delete links, file a reconsideration request etc. So it comes down to ROI and how important your site is to you. Its a business decision, with a risk attached.

This is called "GBN", meaning "guest posting network". This means websites that are clearly better in quality than a PBN but have no traffic and are used with the sole purpose of giving links. I've noticed that most people here hate GBN from fiverr and consider they're not cost efficient. This might be true, but there are situations in life where GBN might be an option. What if your business is a legit, long-term one but you can't afford real guest posting?
