I am facing a strange problem with one of my new sites. Well not really new but its around 3-4 months old.

Once I add a new post and use Fetch as google, its gets indexed right away. However after few days, it just simple disappear from the serps. However the posts are still present in Google cache. If I try to use Fetch as google again, it comes back to SERP. Then same things happen again (disappearing..)

Any idea what's going on?

Fetch as google is not a "push into index" button )
however you can abuse this function and somehow damage your serps

Also even if a post gets indexed (without using Fetch as google), it still gets out of index after few days. Basically the same thing.

This is quite normal nowadays with google. Indexing is one thing but keeping them in the index is another thing. Try adding a good internal link structure in your blog. This way you ensure that all posts are crawled regularly and once you start building backlinks things should be dandy again :D

I have been experiencing something similar, guess you need backlinks to each indexed page for it to stay indexed? Either external or internal link?

there is an index and serp and out of index.
also, there is freaking almost real-time instant update of google serp.
the things you got used to 5 years ago are dead like a cow in your burger.
say like this: there was a thing called "new/fresh site bonus" and newly registered domains went to top easily - for few weeks - good to make $
Well today it is NOT TRUE ANYMORE. Maybe a few hours? Not days for sure
and many other idiot changes of algo

OP avoid that fetch function and try to link your new posts from old post. I was having same issue then i start stop doing that. I let them get index naturally.
