Posting your backlink in existing articles? Worth it?

Honestly, In my opinion,
Building these kind of links are always a risk factor.
Maybe you feel worth the money, But its definitely Not.

Placing links on a existing article or already indexed page wont look natural to the eyes of Google.

Hence, the result "google penalty"

Its called a niche edit. They’re worth it but as with everything you have to skip the cheap links.

Maybe you are right. Let's suppose you update an article backdating to 2001 with a new source or link or content. Why would that look natural to google and mine link-building won't? Moreover, I have carefully observed that in my past 3-4 years, I have had 3 of my websites penalized all three of them had high-quality guest posts, pbn links, and high-authority profile links. Where as my competitors survived 2018, 2019, and 2020 google search algorithm updates. The profile of all my competitors had most of these links. So if they survived 3 years with such a profile I don't think it is going to hurt.

They are cheaper but the metrics as high as it gets. Because, these are real sites with real traffic.

Yea, There is a difference!
Updating the old blog posts with links is good.

But inserting irrelevant links to the existing posts / indexed page or links to irrelevant articles is not good.

No it's not even google encourage niche edit, I mean Not niche edit, but according to their white hat technique you can outreach people, do you want to link this awesome content I have related to your post. Something like that...

FYI, this isnt white hat technique!

Definitely worth it but beware of the websites linking to you. If they all are hacked websites, then Big G will see yours as a PBN to those and penalize you too.

Even though it sounds economically good but i think it is a little bit risky... so better check with various sources before proceeding... No Quality work will come that cheap...

I have read these posts, but this isnt a answer to my question!

So Again, link insertion to existing article is spammy technique & that never comes under white hat link building technique.

You should better read Google link scheme, before building such kind of links.
