Posting website content to document sharing sites?

Is it a bad idea to post your webpage content to document sharing sites? It's obviously duplicate content, but at least it's quality content. Anyone tried this rather than writing separate content for it?

Don't do it. Get someone to write a decent article for such purposes. Its best to keep the content on your money site as pure as possible.
