Hello, I started my page about news in a niche, currently I'm taking content from other websites and translating them to spanish and posting them, my question is if this is bad for SEO, or good? I want to rank my page fast, I'm thinking buying backlinks from authority websites and doing more stuff, however, currently the msot importat is to keep content on the website.

Do you think is bad for SEO taking content translating them, posting it but not giving any credits?

Thanks before hand, all the advise you can give! love this community

Your name checks out here. Don't do this. Google is not stupid and will find this out and destroy your site for duplicate content.

What you’re talking about is not good practice. Google keeps getting smarter, and even if it doesn’t snag you for duplicate content now, it probably will do so at some point.
That being said, you could rewrite the content during translation and give it your unique take. The more distinct the translated content is from the original content, the safer you will be.
