Posting on The Lounge increases post count?!

Hey, guys.

I just noticed that posting on The Lounge increases your post count. I had 41 posts so far. When I made a post on Hawkster's giveaway on Lounge, it rose to 42 posts. If I remember the rules correctly, Lounge posts aren't supposed to increase your post count, right?

I'm posting this here to make sure if Lounge posts do increase your post count. Mods, feel free to move this to Feedback section if you think that's the right place for this post.

EDIT: Lounge posts do increase your post count. My post count is now 43. It was 42 before I started this thread. And Newbies can post links too now? I think the mods are going to be quite busy with spammers for some time.

They just changed the forum over, its going to take time for them to tweak and get everything how they should be. I highly doubt they will continue to let noobs post links and I also doubt lounge posts will count towards your post count, but that one I'm not sure on.

I'm sure it's only temporary. They may stick, who knows. I guess take advantage of it while you can. Not that post count means anything. You can have 20k posts and still be a 'tard.

I noticed those issues on the first day, although I didn't create a thread about it to avoid giving any unscrupulous new members ideas, especially in the event that those issues will be fixed soon; it's been nice not having spam or highly combative members around here since the forum migrated to XenForo.

Oops. I'm really sorry if I gave it away. I didn't think about it at all. I just wanted to bring this to the attention of mods (Why did I even believe that they might not know?). I feel so stupid now.

Also, sorry to the members who commented above. I didn't reply because I didn't want the mods to think I'm bumping my post count up. I won't be posting on this thread anymore.
