Hi all,

Trying to get some links from a few high authority forums in my niche. The problem is they have mods that watch the forum like a hawk!

What are a few tactics you use to sneak a link into a forum?

Such forums are of really good quality. You need to build authority in such forums first by adding real value by active participation. Only after that you can expect some gains.

Usually it should take weeks to months. But in the end it will be worth it.

Any sneaky method in such forums does not work. Even if you hire someone to do that be watchful how they add your link, otherwise your link will be removed after some time and you will lose your money.

Check for how long you can edit your comments and threads after you posted them. If you can edit them after they "died", chances are that mods won't see them after you add the link.

Sigs/Home url links?
Nicely grown/aged accounts or sometimes even paid ones have this feature too.

There is service for this in the marketplace section by NicheRanker. But I'd suggest that you follow this advice.

^ This.

Write helpful posts without any links at first. Then if you can still edit the post after a few days or a week or however long it takes to fall a few pages back, you could add the link in surreptitiously.

You can use "edit" function to edit your posts after some time, and insert backlink in there. It may increase your chances for successful link placement up to 50% (if this option is available on the specific forum).
Otherwise - outsourcing may be the solution. Because it takes really much efforts and the result may be 0.

Outsource to legit users.
This is the way forward.
OP, imagine how long it will take you to build trust on those forums and making hundreds of posts.
As tiberius correctly said... it's easier and cheaper to pay a tenner to a legit user.

This nice advice,thank you

Did this a few weeks ago, you have to post the links naturally. You can search the forum for posts asking for something your product/service can solve, then reply and post your link. You can also create those discussions with a secondary account, after the thread get a few replies, you reply with your link and product/service description.
