When you post links on youtube videos, do you put your website's URL, or do you use URL shortener? I see many people using shortened URL, but I don't see the benefit of it. Is it a way to prevent your website getting banned by youtube? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to get backlinks?

When you see a shortened link on YT, where does it go ?
Lots of noobs are using sharecas, CPA or other affiliate program to monetize their youtube traffic, and they link directly from their videos to their affiliate links, so they use shorteners to avoid displaying these ugly looking affiliate links ;)

Yeah zak just explained it for you. It's to hide the fact they trying to make money through there affiliate / CPA links.

I don't think usage of shortened URL will prevent google to ban your site if there is a reason for it. These services just shorten the URL they cannot hide it from Google.

So the main reason is as explained above. Well, there are always people who simply don't know what they are doing but I think they are the minoritu in this case.

yes, google will fine it ,but .youtube cant not find it ,thanks is why
