Posting links in posts

I see that a lot of people don't post link to product sales page in the post when they do shout outs and just in general and instead say link is in bio. What is the reasoning behind it? Do you get in trouble with IG?

I ask because when I was adding new posts into Buffer app when I would enter url from where to take the picture it would also include a backlink to the page where the image was taken. I would add variation of text with something like "For larger | bigger version of this picture | photo | image visit | click url". I never had any problems with this business account which has a few thousand followers and all content was owned by me.
