Posting in forums are time consuming

hi

today I've posted about 15 messages in different forums, each post contain link to currentsignature.com. It has taken me a few hours (I also registered at 3 new forums and had to wait for confirmation email).

But now it's gone a few hours since I posted last message and still noone have visited my site I know it cause I added a script which when a new session is created adds a new record in the database with ip infor of the visitor and the referrer url of the user... The table is still empty, except I had a visitor form a go0gle bot

any idea how to speed this up?

i've got an xrummer campaign on 'automatic drip'.....instead of blasting 12k+ sites, i'm every so slowly submitting throwaway 2.0 sites to the forums for the past week or so...

ok, you guys got any other suggestions on how to get more traffic. This is a subscription site where nobody have subscribed yet, been online for a week. Wish someone was subsrcribing by now

Wish I had emails to people so then I could send them invitation to join. Registered members of the website has a "Invite your friends" option, too bad I cannot use it as noone is already registered

By adwords etc, I think I will wait that tactic. the site must generate more hits first.

One thing I like is the statistics code I implemented by myself, it stores the ip and the referrer url of visitors. The referrer url says where the user comes from, what webpage he got the link from.....

any suggestions?

today sent a pm's to 2 members of a forum, that means I sent 2 pm's, Both have a signature. I asked them if they wanted to post their signature on this site. I'm unsure how effective this strategy is, so I posted 2 messages only. Afraid I can get banned from moderators..

any thoughts about this?

Try linkjuicer. Do a search for it on this site. It automates backlink posting on web 2.0 sites.
