Hi guys, just started my youtube journey recently and hope someone can help clarify some questions I have.

Basically I started a new shorts channel reposting content from tiktok and realised that youtube doesnt push the shorts unlike my other channel with original content.

1) Is this due to youtube being able to identify the shorts as being reposted from tiktok?
2) How should I edit the content to get it to pass the algo for the push?
3) Does it matter if other channels are posting the same content?
4) The first few shorts I posted 5-6 had below 10 views. Should I continue posting on the channel or start a new channel?

Thank you for your help and sorry for the noob questions as Im new to youtube and trying to learn.

Yes it's most likely being flagged as reused content or just not very good content.

Yeah its basically just dance videos from tiktok that I downloaded and reposted. But the weird thing is that there were other channels which has sizable views and subs doing the exact same thing and I was just trying to figure out whats the difference. Like do they edit the vids in a certain way to bypass the algo.

If you repost TikTok videos on YouTube, many people have already done the same. If you're late, those videos will have duplicate content. Therefore, the chances of increasing views will be very difficult. You should try and find the best video sources.
