Posting Comment/hashtags in uploaded picture

I notice that as soon as I use hashtags with IG, my uploaded pictures will receive way more likes etc.
For this reason I want to add them to every picture I post via my bot.

My contact who has allot of experience with building IG accounts says to not add the hashtags as competitors may try to report you and your account gets banned due to spamming.

What are your thoughts about this? As I believe that allot of small accounts add hashtags etc. and do not have the ban issue I believe.

What do you do regarding hashtags, add like 7-8 max or not at all, or more?

Understand that I rather go the slow but steady route instead of fast but risky.

So IG let's you use alot of hashtags (30) but still ban you for using them all? Would be kinda douchey. I never had problems with using alot of them. Especially if you have smaller account just put all 30. And fvck your competitors, report them first or work with them instead.

I think you are right and I find it strange myself as I'm only posting 3 times a day, so I'm doing nothing out of the ordinary.
