Posting a WTB thread - allowed? If so, where?

Hey all,

Just wondering if posting a want to buy thread is allowed and, if so, where? (looking for an instgram app with public_content approval, should I post in Market Place > Social media, or is that JUST for posting stuff for sale, not wanted etc).

Asking here in the lounge prior to posting to make sure I get it right!
