Post Your May 2020 Core Update SERP Movements

As we know, Google has released a new core algo update named: May 2020 Algo Update.

So far I see my website has been going up and a bunch of KWs got ranked in top 50 and others are moving up as well...

It will take around 1-2 weeks to see results as saying anything now will be very quick.

I'm in a Pets niche with 100+ articles with each article having 1K+ words.

I was at #2 yesterday. Featured snippet few hours ago. Now at #6. Man, what an emotional roller-coaster

Just couple of weeks back, we had a major blow from amazon. Now Google

Damn why am I always on the receiving end of the short end of the stick with all these bullshit monthly updates?
I'm seeing a 50% drop in visitors since today.

Google doesn't like white hat sites with good content, it prefers shitty sites using pbn's and with thin crap content or ultra high authority sites. I just started to build more links too

I've heard a rumour that this is a YMYL update.

If that is the case then it fits in well with my 2 sites affected.

50% traffic gone for 2 major rev generating sites.
Some sites which were stuck on page 2 have jumped to page 1

Will get to know the final result once the update has rolled out completely

All my rankings crashing one by one!!!!!

My website is content-oriented and content was top quality as well! Didn't buy any spammy kind of links or something.

Same with me. I was #1 yesterday for my MAIN KW but now #4 and another KW went to #5 this morning

I'm monetizing with Ezoic mainly at this moment with Affiliate Banner ads.

A lot of my keywords that were ranking at #1 have fallen to around #3 or #4, and my main competitor - who was stuck outside the top 3 for many months - has taken some of my #1 positions without any visible linkbuilding.

Just a week ago, my money website received a random boost across all my keywords and pages, some keywords going from bottom of page 1 to the top 3, or #5->#1. This lasted around 3 days then they returned to normal, and then this update hit and so far it's a downward trend for many keywords.

So far I am unable to find any logic in this update. Massive movements up and down for many websites, regardless of being authority or shitty ones, using PBNs or pure spam and whatnot or not. Even keywords in the same website are going crazy +50 positions for one page -50 for another.

I've already stated that 2 of my websites rankings have fallen off a cliff, out of the top 100. Yet no search console penalties.

To you guys with more experience as me with these updates, does this look permanent to you?

Possible to bounce back after the dust settles?

What makes me worry is the fact of how far mine have fallen.
