Seeing other peoples earning does not "motivate" anyone. If anything it makes people upset, no one likes seeing someone else doing better than them. We are competitive by nature.
Find your own motivation. Perhaps you wanted a new car or that 50" TV screen, even a new watch. Think about it, make it your mission. If that doesn't motivate you I don't know what will.

No, i'm not wrong. It comes down to personal preference. I don't need to see what someone else is earning to get me motivated nor should anyone else.
Set your own goals and get to work.

No "buddy" it's you who is confused.
You need to have a reason to want to make money, for example lets say I want a new car or $X,XXX. Now that's my motivation, that's what I want to and will achieve.
