Post via Email on Wordpress?

Like blogger, wordpress now allows you to post via email. They also give you a fake address you're supposed to keep secret. I tried doing the feedmyinbox trick that allows you to autoblog using an RSS feed, but have not received anything in my WP "posts" section yet. Has anyone else had success using this method on wordpress? I really want to autoblog on my wordpress but am not seeing any other way to do so.

IMO there are easier ways of auto blogging with wordpress. You can use a plugin like wp-robot or search for some software, I used to have a great rss auto blogger program but I forget the name.

Thanks! I'm just getting started and want to invest in this operation soon, but right now am looking for free options. My wordpress has some good stuff on it but I'm thinking it's worthless since I can't monetize. All that "import" "export" stuff is too complicated for me so looks like I'm SOL.

If you are looking to save some money, and don't mind a little manual cleaning, you can find full feed RSS and add them to Opera. When you want to add an article, simply redirect (right click menu) an RSS post (NOT FORWARD) to your email address that you created in WP. you can set up filters and shoot them to several if you wish.

I know that you can also use an autoresponder, or plugins, but both options involve problems for shoestring (0) budget marketing. You still have to clean, and schedule to use an AR, and free/low budget hosts might ban you for using plugins that burden their servers.
