Hello Guys,


I have submitted one url of my website in stumble and i got lot of traffic from that. Now i wanna know will post submitted on stumbleupon will help me to improve google ranking or i can only get traffic from stumbleupon

It?s a no follow link

According to Google you won?t get any link juice, thus it isn?t supposed to help with rankings?

SEO and SMO are two different things they do pplay a role in ranking a website but with all other things in place. I mean proper content, quality onpage and unspammed link profile.

I believe social bookmarking sites like stumbleupon are nofollows links. So not much juice afraid =(.

It does not affect your google ranking. Stumbleupon is a good traffic source though.

Try creating more socially shareable content for SU. It will doesn't affect your Search engine rankings but, it will give you traffic boost. Also keep in mind that it will increase the bounce rate of the website.

In this case: If you have more traffic from Authority website, this also affects on Your SEO! No matter that this is no follow link. This is based only on my SEO experience, someone can tell you that this is no matter...

Even though Stumbleupon links are nofollow, do the Likes you earn count as social signals? Even if no, then if your content is really good, you might get shares on other networks.

On a side note, for some unknown reason, it seems if I submit pages of my site one by one (one page per day), I get a huge bounce rate and very little time spent on my site from SU traffic (like 90+% and less than 10 seconds respectively.) However, if I submit like 5 pages all in the same day, I get a much lower bounce rate (70-80%) and more time spent on my site (1 min or more on average.) I only submit at most 5 pages per site per day since their limit is like 10 pages per site every 24 hours.

The short answer is no. But hey, it's a start. You need to build more links to your site if you want to rank.

No link juice so it doesn't help in google rankings but hey if you can earn incoming traffic, there's nothing like it. Keep at it.

Stumbleupon will only help you to get lot of traffic, It will not help to improve your rankings
