post slugs

Do you go with /category/page-name or just /page-name as your post slug?

I've done it both ways. Don't know if it makes a diff.

Wordpress performance is better if you use numerical first and then postname. Like /%id%/%postname%/ .

In case of the categroy and postname, it is good for the SEO.

It all depends on what you want, performance boost or SEO friendly slug.
