Post rules for Marketplace

Hello,
since i got 2 infractions about "talking" in sales thread me and Apricot
found out that the following rule should be updated (or added):

The (sale)threads are for pre-sales enquiries and reviews only.

yes,but why did you want this rule?

Because, like i said, i got infractions because of talking to seller and there is no such rule. So how to know.

Most of BHW's rules are just common sense.

- Basically, you should not make irrelevant replies on a sales/service thread.

- You should not "hijack" a sales/service thread by posting your competitive offer
or someone else's competitive offer on that thread.

- If you are a buyer and are dissatisfied with a product or service, you may
post ONE negative review on that thread. If you need to take the complaint
to the next level, you should apply for a Shit List thread.

- If you are not a buyer or an interested potential customer, you are not
allowed to make negative comments about the product or service. It just
serves to sabotage that business.

I didnt conflict with any of the "common sense" rules you write.

Nuhll, come on - we JUST spoke about the "one review" that Wiz mentioned.

Both these discuss reasonable use and expectations from services in the marketplace.

As always, suggestions for improving them are welcome - that's what this forum is for after all - but this isn't the place to discuss infractions.

Nuhll, if you still don't know why you got infracted, PM me. If you're still unconvinced, I'll happily provide info on how to escalate your issues.

You can't ask for a rule to counter another rule because you got an infraction for it.
