Post Penguin 2.0 update link building tactics

Unique articles + Article Marketing w/ links to youtube videos containing your sites url = penguin 2.0 killer ;) wham, bam - thank you mam ;)

I have very high quality backlinks great web 2.0's and so on. I've been reading and seeing on my own sites the ones with seo done to them have been hit. great quality and real looking stuff. I use no spun articles and the seo sits were hit. I have 5 websites in the same field and the four with seo were hit a couple pages down on most KW's. My site with no seo and crapy content and awful look has jumped. most kws are on page 2 of google but still its the main landing site for my customers now.
comments not helping to raise ranking and all after update , dont waste time on commenting , get some quality backlinks is the only option left

Damn, one of my sites got to the first page yesterday for good traffic keyword, today went to 5th page, probably because it's a fairly new, but i'm sure penguin 2 is responsible for this.
My new strategy is creating high pr links on related sites only, plus a shit load of web2s with unique content.

Unique content + quality back links from aged high PR websites + quality manual web 2.0s with unique content + social media buzz + youtube promotion + etc = high search engine rankings + traffic -----> money (if you have good converting website with solid keywords and monetisation tactics)

Some ppl say they managed to beat Penguin by getting more and more links with brand name as the anchor texts. It's also important to remove some really spammy links to strengthen the link profile. So, it's not always important where to find new links, but how they should look like.

What looks the most natural are actions made by marketers. They want to promote their website by buying advertisements, publishing press releases and making buzz around the website. Their goal is not to get backlinks but even though they often manage to get some. You can also look for your brand mentions (ie. in some old articles) with no link, and then ask the website owner to make a clickable link from it.

Chin up to the folks who got hit. I feel your pain - and unlike a Thai Ladyboy kicking you in the balls, it's not a good pain.

I don't think Google can be beaten. In fact, I'd advise not to even try. You find a trick now, 12 months down the line you're getting burned by it. Natural link-building is the only way to go, IMO, and not simulated natural link building. I'd concentrate on great content and Google-advised onsite seo. Make worthwhile sites. Dabble in big authority sites (which take a lot of time to rank) and authority sites in small niches (easier and quicker to rank). As someone mentioned, dabble in media buying. As far as content goes, the old idiom "content is king" should not be interpreted as merely regularly updated content with a sensible flowering of relevant keywords, but text, video, and picture content that generates social interest (link bate). I could go on, but I'm even boring myself.

Hire few writers for full-time job. content is really work imho and use less bad links

I write quality content and do white hat seo but my ranking is not good.

What I notice after update is link pyramid will not work any more and do not ping u r web2 backlinks on same day after creating. Create 20 to 30 web2 backlink and leave it for one week to natual indexing after that just do ping them all. In this method all web2's are not indexed but it shows natural. I got success in this method.

Actually Penguin hates bad links pointed to your site.

To overcome this problem, firstly find out bad links using webmaster tool, then remove all bad link by contacting to site webmaster or submit that links to disavow tool.

Hope it will help u.

Thanks

Build only on quality and natural backlink that will boost the ranking of your keyword. Always use the diverse anchor text at the 60 and 40% ration otherwise Google will flagged your backlink.

Yes, you have to diversify anchor text as well as methods of link building, build links naturally as much as you can... Your link profile should have high quality links...don't think of ******** or nofollow, keep building links whatever you find.

Content is King! Just focus on developing good content and trying to get as many organic links on time as you can! Naturally!

Well good luck with that "natural back-linking", i hope more and more people will do the same thing as you, i can do without the competition, I have tried the "natural back-linking" with a great site (was a sport site) with great content regular handwritten updates), and i got 4 links in 7 months from other webmasters... so good luck to you sir.

My advice would be to build web 2;.0 properties have those linked to your moneysite, get some video's and tsuff like that, but don't build a site and wait for other webmasters to link to your site, that (unless you're a funny picture/movie/news site) wil never ever going to happen.

For my local sites i use a PBN of 20 domains, mixed with local directories links, article links, blogcomments, tweets, facebook links, Google+ profile links, web 2.0 links, Press release links.

And these properties i blast with comments/wiki links/forum profiles and my 95% of the time i hit my mark and i stay there. Sometimes i loose a view rankings as like everybody else, but when i do i never start to doubt my ranking methods as 95% of my rankings says i am doing it right.

It really isn't that complicated people. But if you look for a enemey behind every three and you buy into every myth (like write great content cus Google can read nonsens) than you're fucked and your shit gets nowhere
