Post Google September/October Updates: How's Your Website Doing?

Hey Everyone.

It seems like the September/October Google core updates have impacted a wide range of sites, irrespective of whether they feature original content, high quality, or AI content.

I'm curious to know if any of you have experienced a decline in your website's traffic following these updates. Additionally, has anyone managed to recover their lost traffic? If so, could you please share the strategies or changes you implemented to get back on track?

On another note, have any of you ventured into starting new niche sites this year? If yes, how's the journey going so far? It would be great to hear about your experiences and the challenges you've faced in the post-update SEO landscape.

Most of my client's sites faced an issue like on the weekend there was a drop in the traffic and again it came back to the number of traffic it had, there was a fluctuation in traffic on weekends alone

Has anyone faced this issue?

Actually last ones been on November

SERPS already messed up again since then...

Things which I've noticed:

• Most of the small sites negatively impacted post these updates
• SV's seems normal only (not much growth) but still at least in my niche all sites organic traffic is down (no traffic gain).
• Seems like Google is favouring reddit and UGC forum sites a lot
• Long articles are not working now - to the point short article seems ranking higher for many of the keywords.

few of my clients raised the same issue the Spam update and the Core update both focused on the Content quality and the user engagement activities we managed to overcome those by working a bit on their content and what we did is we used different types of content like testimonials, reviews, informative etc.., now those site are bit ok that before and is still getting better.

I've noticed a 60% drop in traffic from Google in October on my largest website. If I didn't have other websites, I would probably be out of business.
I literally changed nothing on the website, there's no penalty showing in GSA, and the site is visible in Google, so I suspect that it was due to this update.

I've been waiting for a recovery for the last three months, but it seems like it's a permanent drop. New articles, backlinks, content fixes, improvement of the 'About,' 'Contact,' etc. pages - nothing helps.
The number of impressions on my website has decreased, but the click-through rate has increased significantly. It seems like users are searching for my site at a lower position in the results. It's funny that Google still refuses to restore the higher position. Competitive crappy websites with spam in backlinks did not experience any drop.

Recently, I changed the domain name on some of my other sites to a little shorter and more recognizable one, and I didn't notice any seo drop, but even an increase. I am considering doing the same with this website.

Got hit and lost half traffic, not recovered, I updated dozens of articles and changed theme....

Due to the latest update my traffics and ranking got hit by Google. I again re-written those articles to rank higher
