Post from pc browser in 2025?

There's so much talk and speculation in this subject. In the end, does it matter or not? is there any real evidence that posting from broswer brings lower views?
i dont know about this year but ive uploaded from browser before and was getting around the same numbers as on mobile. maybe you can have one account just on pc and test it.

Do you still do any tiktok project?

There’s no official evidence that posting from a browser lowers views, but TikTok’s algorithm does weigh a lot of contextual signals. Mobile posts often come with richer data: sensor info, mobile IPs, app usage patterns. Posting from a desktop browser can sometimes look less “organic,” especially if paired with reused IPs or generic setups.
Some creators bypass this by using mobile emulators or routing desktop sessions through mobile proxies to better mimic a natural environment , which can help keep reach consistent.

I see you're a mobile proxy provider, would you recommend any method for using proxies on mobile devices? I mean, the system option on android only routes stuff done from the system browser

While there is no concrete evidence that posting from a browser reduces views, optimizing content and engagement is still key to increasing views on TikTok.

Since I created this thread, I've done some small testing (one accont, 5 posts) and I kind of feel it made no difference actually, I got the usual amount of views

You're right, the native Android proxy setting only affects the system browser, not the apps like TikTok. To route full device traffic through a proxy, you’ll want to use something like SocksDroid or HTTP Injector with SOCKS5 or HTTP proxies and auth support.
An even cleaner setup is to route through a full device tunnel using WireGuard or OpenVPN with your mobile proxy, which ensures all app traffic (not just browser) uses the right IP. This gives you a proper mobile session with real carrier IP and sensor context, which TikTok’s algo tends to reward with better reach.
