Post edit timeframe?

Hey guys i just noticed that we are able to edit our posts not just within the first minutes, but even after couple of hours..

Does someone know the exact timeframe we can modify our posts? That sometimes comes in handy..

i think it's for an hour or couple not much

definitely it is more than just a few hours.. probably like Seo Lover adviced might be 24 hours..

Its surely more than 1 hour and less than 24 hours for sure

Yeah. I think it's not more than 24 hrs because I had once thought of editing a post that was posted around 2 days back, but I couldn't find the edit option.
