Post ebooks make money

Hey guys,
I know I have a lot of things to ask but this one is making me crazy because it acctualy could work. I don't believe in this YouTube stuff to make money because you guys are rocking it already. But what if I write a good ebook about a topic like "Become a Boxer" create a homepage and then let it be promote it on clickbank so other people make the advertising for you. How much should I charge for a ebook?

If I were to write an ebook, depending on the size, I would probably charge no more than $5 or $10.

I don't know how well a topic like that would work out but there are lots of ebooks that can make money promoting on Clickbank. Just take a look at the guy that sells info on making money by drawing and taking pictures. Its amazes me that people can be so gullible and so lazy that they would actually purchase his course for so much. I think he charges around $40. But from a marketers point of view he put that together perfectly.

Although I am reasonably certain that there is a market
for Boxing related products, I think you would do much
better to write a book on mixed martial arts. It is more
popular and has a huge, ever-growing, enthusiastic fan
base of young people who are willing to buy anything
related to the subject of mixed martial arts.

Yeah, agree mix martial arts have a huge potential.

But if you do not know anything about mix martial arts, just focus on boxing.

Your ebook will become crap if you dont know the topic that you are writing.

If you're listing it on Clickbank or planning on having affiliates then you need to be able to pay them the most you can afford to. 75% is highest percentage you can give your affiliates in Clickbank so think about how much money you are going to make per sale and how much they are. You also need to factor in things like hosting costs (not much but still a cost) and the cost to acquire a customer and or affiliates. You may not spend much on this or you may only do paid traffic to get your customers - so it's really something to think about.

Who is going to handle support when somebody has an issue downloading the ebook or wants a refund? Some people will have questions as well and try to contact you or your support team. Are you going to do it yourself and if so that takes time out of your day. If you hire somebody then there are costs involved so that is something to consider.

Finally, you need to think about fees, Clickbank charges a fee (forget what it is) for every sale. So will other payment processors. Do you pay taxes? That is something to consider as well.

So in short you can't just throw a random number out and say "charge this much" - instead you should write down all of your costs first and then go from there. Don't forget to also include costs of design, copywriting and so on if you outsource those.
