Hi

Over the last week or so, I've had some reports rejected and I've ended up resubmitting them to be looked at again.

One example now is @BestConnection who has posted 92 times in total of which 45 of those posts are in Introductions. The report I submitted was rejected.

Has there been some change of policy regarding post count spam? Normally I am fairly on the ball with my reports, but I am now seeing some of them rejected.

If there is a change a of policy, then I will look to report less than I do at the moment.

Thanks

I think introduction threads and replies do not increase post count

There hasn't been a change in policy. I rejected the report you've mentioned because the member has posted in introductions twice a day or so, but there are other posts in between that look natural and don't appear to be post count inflation in the typical sense. There's no hard rule on how much people can post in the introductions section, and we don't want to discourage all activity from there.

It's not entirely appropriate to @ the particular member you reported in this thread as a spammer. Furthermore, you are free to report as much as you want, just take on board the rejection/resolution notes as they come.

If you have any more questions or are ever unsure, feel free to PM any of the moderators for more guidance and information. :)
