Post article on my website or share them to well known blogs with a reference

I'm pretty new to SEO. I have built a SaaS product and try to do some marketing to share my product.
I also implemented a blog section on my website where I post few articles trying to improve my ratings.

However, I was wondering; myabe I'm doing it wrong... Would it be worth it to write an article and share it to another known blog asking them to publish it with a reference to my website? It would be a win win situation. They have free (and interesting) content and I improve my visits with highly visited site + link building from a good reference.

What do you think of site? Is this actually bad for long terme?

Make sure to check out guest blogging guidelines for each website you apply to. It can be a tricky process to get a good website to give you a post, but once you've got your foot in the door, it's one of the best ways to build links!

This will not help for long term as most guest blogging with good DA charge good amount. You should also start considering for internal blog post as well so that your domain can cater other keywords in your niche as well
