Possible to make bulletproof website?

Hey all,

Let's say that hypothetically speaking I'd want to create a website. Soon this website starts becoming a viral hit and becomes as popular as the next Putlocker (Not saying it ever will I am saying this purely from a hypothetical situation). Would a VPS from Alexhost and a .is domain from Njalla guarantee a website that can not get taken down? Soap2day.com is a website that has been up forever, I want to know why they have had no problems being taken down and putlocker and 123movies have?

Several other people on here have reported that njal.la requested their domains to be moved over and/or locking them out of them - use the search bar on BHW for njal.la and you'll see

That alone should tell you how "good" they are, I think :)
 
No domain is bulletproof. At the end ICANN can always ask registry to remove the domain. For hosting there are some hosting companies who host their servers in bunkers so doesn't get more bulletproof than that.

The trick is not to be that much popular to stay bellow the radar.
Besides this, there is a thread from @Rachmaninoff about video streaming sites where you can learn a lot.
