Possible to hide personal info from business?

First of all, I am not trying to avoid paying taxes or nor am I hiding my info from doing some type of fraud. I just prefer not to have my name and address listed under the company that I am looking to start. I am based out of California and I am looking to start an LLC, but dont know which way is the best to get what I want. If any of you masterminds can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

Most attorneys/CPAs/Good Friends would be willing to be your Registered Agent. Seems to be less of a hassle than an out-of-state or offshore entity.
