I have a product review site that targets only one type of product. The main article is pinned to the homepage (static front page).

It's currently at #8 for it's main keyword, but the exact match anchor text is terrible - 10% according to ahrefs. I would need to build 500+ non match links to get it down to 1-2%. These are all links pointing to the homepage.

If I were to un-pin it from the homepage, the URL would go from www.dogreviews.com to www.dogreviews.com/best-dog-collar

Is it possible to create an "intro" static homepage, that then has a link to my best-dog-collar page, therefor it's getting all the juice from the homepage, but doesn't have all those exact match anchors pointing at it?

Or would any potential anchor text penalty still carry over?
