This email sure sounds suspicious. For one, you site is new (as you've mentioned) so why would they offer such big amount to advertise when there are other sites who are more established than yours. Don't get me wrong but it spells S-C-A-M. You are right for doubting them and not providing details right away but if you want to confirm if they are serious then ask for a down-payment, if they send you a payment without asking for anything other than a contract then I guess they are serious and you're lucky.

Just got the same email from 2 of my websites. These websites hardly have any traffic and they are offering me "up to $950.00/month" for a banner placement. Sounds too good to be true, but I clicked on that custom link - first in my Firefox browser it showed a popup window that Java needs to be downloaded - I did not click on that, as it would probably install malware on my PC. However, I opened that URL in Google Chrome and it loaded a Java applet and I confirmed that I trust that connection. Then it loaded the banners. I hope I now don't have Keylogger or any spyware in my PC.

scam. I too received similar email and seen in other forums about that site. Just Google to find more information about them. Anyway we don't get such price for small sites.

I echo everyone else's sentiments. I've had these emails inquiring about several of my websites for months now. It didn't seem the least bit legit so I never explored it.

Yep, exactly. Just by this logic alone will tell you, this e-mail is just junk.

I received the same type of email a while back from a Bob Rowley. Looks like a scam to me.

It's a scam boys. When you click the link the site tries to load a java applet to malware the shit out of you.

I would not trust it at all. Sounds too good to be true to me.
