Hi guys:)
Apologies for a somewhat long post

I have a website around 7 months old, was building it up to be a amz aff site, so had reviews, best of and how-to's guides.

Just over a month a ago started building links, maybe 1-2 a day and incorporating diversity.
Targeting both home page and also inner page KW(best xxxx for xxxxx)

Profile
Image
A couple Comments
Pdf
Infographic
A few bookmarks

Generally using generic, brand or naked url for anchor text.

Only very few of them have shown up ahrefs, which I thought was just time related.

So checking it gwt and for the past week or so, my keyword bounce for "63" to "43"

Had a look at gwt last night and noticed there were a few more clicks, checked the position and sure enough the overall ranking of the website went up, but the KW in question dropped from "43" to "83" and having a look in a ahrefs it says my sites non-existent :(

Still getting traffic, haven't used any pbn's or web2.0's. There's no message from gwt stateing I've been penalised.

Could it be the Google dance or is that drop to significant to be regular??

Just a google dance is my bet - ive had keywords go from top 20 to N/A back to top 20 and higher before.

Hopefully lol

Has sort of thrown me off a bit, when looking at ahrefs after gwt and seeing no ranking for the root domain.

Having a look again, big G now says indexed pages are sitting at 37 down from 40.
Searched for Site:www.mywebsite.com and its still shows majority of pages are still indexed, so not really sure which pages have dropped out of GWT

Also a quick question

A couple months back, all of a sudden my indexed pages in GWT went from say around 32 down to 21 over the space of a couple days, not really sure why, but doing a audit didn't bring back anything bad.
After a day, I ended up resubmitting my site and sure enough the page index went up.

Is it ok to re-submit a site after a bit of time??

Thanks for the help so far:)

It's just a google dance. Actually Google used to rebuild its rankings, and as a result of this rebuilding some serp may oscillate/ fluctuate for certain period. It will be normal in 3 to 5 days.

Thanks guys:)

I always see threads about this, then it happens and you almost forget everything you've read lol.

Will see how it goes
