Don't hesitate to switch. in WP, you can customize it more. Considering that you have more images and videos in your blog, then the power pf WP customization in presenting these content is crucial.

I understand the fact that you want to change to a different blogging platform, but I would highly recommend against it. I have been using Wordpress for many years now and while it may have some issues, there are no other CMS out there with such flexibility and user support as WP.
