Is it possible for google to remove a website from its search engine if it involves illegal activity such as dmca or other?

Yes. Happens with for example streaming sites all the time.

How would we avoid this? And how come sites like TPB stay up on google and other sites?

It's discussed frequently in streaming threads. For example:

There seems to be a few "methods" to avoid DMCA. Search the forum and you'll probably find something.

So would google still remove your website from their search engine if you had links to where the content is hosted and not direct like nulled.to never gets removed and other dmca ignored websites.

There are keywords that will trigger this removal. Avoid this, and you will be fine.

It's very common, even to legal sites that go to hard with their spam.

That still doesn’t answer how sites that leak content and torrenting sites stay up.

of course. It can be marked as spam and then it would not be shown in search results at all after some time.

Well how to prevent that??
