Well I am in the business of promoting adult content, I have noticed that people seem to go really freaking crazy when it comes to porn. Its like all those warning about porn being bad for you is actually true. People are now making death threats against me now for saying bad things/distributing videos of their favorite semi-pro porn stars.

So is porn really that degenerate and something that does make people go insane over their porn idols, or is it an isolated incident.

im not an expert, but porn is doing at least 2 things
1. giving pleasure but that pleasure is just temporary, every man wants woman, not to cum, nobody goes to club to meetgirl and cum, he wants to fuck
2. many man wont have problem, but for weaker man its giving feeling of being weaker and not enough and miserable, that he has to do jerk off cause no girl wants him

I've always assumed the Ladder Theory and white knight knight mentality was applicable in these situations.

In other words, they play white knight and defend these porn stars on the off-chance that the porn star will take notice and have sex with them for their heroic deeds.

The funny thing is that the place where the people are coming from that attack me, many of those guys spent $xx,xxx+ and some $xxx,xxx+ on the semi-pro models. That is enough enough money for someone to just radically change their appearance into something totally better that would get a woman to desire them.

This is just a list off the top of my head of what someone can do:
Braces,Gum Restoration,Veneers
Lipo,HGH injections,laser stretch and scar mark removal
Rhinoplasty
Penile lengthening and girth increasement surgery
Gym membership with a Personal Trainer, Tanning Saloon Membership
Height increasing surgery

You have to remember that some of those guys have no interaction with real women and spend all day jacking off.
They develop a connection (in their mind) with their favourite star, their star never lets them down and is always available to them.
So some of them do develop White Knight Syndrome as mentioned by @Zwielicht
Some of them without doubt will be unstable, 24/7 wanking can't be good for the intellect, tell them to read a good book occasionally (Advise them to wash their hands first).

Well, it depends on how you look at it. Sex, and the enjoyment of sex, is completely natural...we depend on it if life is to continue. However, like anything, it can bring out some really dark stuff in people. Just like some people can have a couple pints and be totally cool, others start looking for fights. Having lots of money makes some people really generous, but others become snobby. Sex is a magnifier...it amplifies whatever is lurking under the surface.

That reminds me of Celebrity Worship Syndrome. I actually knew someone who had this issue, and they went to great lengths to break into Summit Circle to see Britney Spears.

Just being inside 24/7 makes people a little stirred up in the head, but it seems that always wanking makes intensifies that. A person needs sunlight,physical movement(wanking barely gets the blood flowing in the body) and intellectual stimulation. Talking to some uneducated model or on a porn site about porn 24/7 isn't stimulating the brain much.

Pretty much this.

Slowly a generation is growing up who prefer porn over real sex, not everyone of course, but for quite a few of them or us, if we want to include ourselves.

Also why are you paying attention to this, automate everything. I guess you'll still get the death treats, but you won't notice them. lol

I remember when i started, i started with classified ad posting, like many of us. Although it's a little bit different, because there you're playing with people's feelings, not a nice thing to do btw, so in that case i can understand, if they get frustrated and send death threats. I'm not sure what's the deal with your semi-pros, but i guess it's mostly the whiteknight syndrome what Zwielicht mentioned above.

Addictions are very dangerous to the individual and those close to the person. If you do not believe that you are addicted to something; money, sex, drugs, alcohol, etc.. then try to go without it.

Many men on this forum (or anywhere) can contest to this hidden truth.

That said, it doesn't surprise me that you would have threats. These people have built their identity on these girls. You and I may not understand it but for them this stuff is real life and they have come to think of these girls as an extension of their family/circle.
