Hey guys. Currently, I'm using Naughty Revenue and promoting the milf niche. I have set up a twitter and wordpress to promote their links. However, after doing a bit more research, I realized milfs were a very popular niche and thus, wouldn't be ideal due to their low demand. I googled "untapped porn niche" and other similar searchwords, but couldn't find anything recent (at least from late 2012).

This is a very informative site that probably has answered these kinds of questions a million times. But I'm a bit lost. Can anyone with porn affiliate experience weigh in on this matter? Thank you kindly.

I think this is the first time I encountered about port.lol I even think this thread should not even be here.

Finding an untapped niche in the adult industry is possible (I've done it), but don't expect a lot of help as it's one of the most competitive industries...

With that said searching for "untapped xxx industries" on Google is rather dumb... seriously, if someone posted a legit list the big dogs and everyone else in the adult biz would be on it within hours and it'd be so saturated so fast, it'd become useless within a day.

My best advice would be to hunt for top quality domains that aren't registered (super hard to find). Just because there's boat loads of cash in the industry doesn't mean you should stroll up one day and say "I'm gonna enter the adult biz" with no knowledge of how to do so.

--> Do your homework
a) find a good niche, do extensive research
b) have the capital to build a good site or extensive seo knowledge to rank your site
c) sign up for a ton of aff. networks and TEST, TEST, TEST. I've made thousands more just by switching the offer I was pushing. Only real difference was the company's landing page. I signed up for like 100 aff networks and only 2 are my top money makers accounting for 90% of my adult site income.
d) if possible, buy the best domain you can get your hands on
--> go for .com's that at least stand a chance of type in traffic (super hard to get)

in addition to what demon said.......make sure once you select a niche.....target its long tail keywords.....they best to get you trailing traffic

indian women........................................ 8===================D untapped..

I hear virgins are untapped.

porn is awesome :) but finding the right thing to promote is hard

The older the women the more money in the niche. Just mix it up with a curiosity. Don't just go for MILFS, but for old hairy MILFS. It a much better niche than lets say teen as people who want to see older woman are willing to spend more money than those curious for fresh vegetables.

Probably not much help, but in promoting one of my porn sites I discovered some specific videos that were very niche related gave me an extreme amount of hits. I'm talking say using the "teen" keyword video and getting only 400 views as compared to the "niche" keyword getting 15,000 in the same time period.

They are out there. Now I just need to capitalize on this niche keyword :)

think outside the box,niches that the normal person wouldnt think would be hot , actually are... i would say the last couple years amateur for sure since u can produce a half decent flick on your iphone, tranny and gay niches are huge

Just an update. Since I have hit niche keywords and also started some other "off the beaten path" advertising methods that don't utilize SEO I have went from averaging 90 hits/day and around 2,000/month to around 500 hits/day and over 10,000/month. "FREE" sign ups have went from 1 to 2 a month to over 50 but the conversion rate to paying customers is maybe 10% of the total "FREE" ones though.

You definitely wont be able to find "Untapped" markets with web searches. If you want to make money on an untapped niche you have to create one yourself. Problem is, everything under the sun has been tried lol. If you come up with something weird that turns people on you could make a site and make some cash.

Making cash in that biz isn't like what it used to be however. Keep in mind that anyone ages 2-110 can get basically whatever they want for free at any of your local tube sites. Unique content, niche, or live is pretty much what you should be targeting if you want to be an affiliate in that biz, IMHO.
