Popups blocked by Chrome itself, how to monetize now?

one of my sites' popups are now actively being blocked by chrome itself. not just firefox where it's normal behavior, but google chrome does it for one of my sites. assuming this is not a site for google ads or similar ad networks, popups and push out of the question, what are other ways to monetize? ask for donations? site is growing traffic, and while i love the numbers, it's starting to put a big load on my network yet earns me nothing.. any advice? thanks

Rather than using pop-up windows, you can choose more user-friendly formats such as banner ads, native ads, or even those integrated directly into the content.
 
If popups and push are blocked, try native ads, in-content banners, affiliate links, or even a Patreon/donation model for monetization.
