pop up blocker

Here's the scenario - At the end of my websites path once the user fills out their information on our form and submit the action (lead gets submitted to my DMS) I have my site redirect the user to a different offer and also have a pop up to a different offer but we're getting blocked, is there any way to by pass or strategic way to show the user both external offers without getting blocked on the pop up attempt?

I'm not sure about this, but I've definitely read it somewhere: calling a popup window when the user clicks a button (not with an event timer) might allow you to bypass popup blockers
Again I haven't tried this method, so don't take my word for it
If it doesn't work, perhaps you could send the user an email with your two external offers?
