I have an EMD site which was hit bad on Sep29. It has high bounce rate- was designed that way originally so they just click on thru to aff link.

So my question is: I was thinking about putting a pop-under on it in the hope that visitors don't see it and leave that window open till they see it or quit therby helping my bounce rate. Good idea or shit? Appreciate comments from you knowledgeable people out there.

I think improving the quality of your site and thinking of how to add value for your visitors is a better idea..

[h=3]Solution[/h] With Google's Event Tracking API, we'll tell Google Analytics that Bob is still on our site every 10 seconds. To make things even better, an event is an engagement equivalent to a pageview, so it too increases Time On Site and unbounces the visit. The result? A more accurate picture of user engagement.
[h=4]Javascript magic[/h] Paste this javascript snippet right before </body> in your HTML pages. It won't matter if you're using the new or old tracking code.

I use it for my own sites.

    Merry Christmas

Thanks for the info, but that's the point. They are not on my site for long and it was designed to just get them there and click off to an aff link where I make my money. Your solution won't fix that as I understand it. Or am I just thick and missing the point here?
