Aside from the look and feel of BHW, I'm not entirely sure about what has changed internally on this once lovely platform, but since the new layout, I've been unable to post anything or even browse the website at all while on mobile, and on desktop, I can only see the page for several seconds before this extremely annoying popup appears, saying "AdBlock Detected". I've gone so far as to both uninstall adblock AND install a new adblock with the sole purpose of whitelisting BHW, but this damned popup continues to appear. After some time, I just said "screw it" and didn't return here for some time.
But I miss being on BHW. Some of my most fun online experiences (yes, I know how sad that sounds lol) have come from being on this platform. I've met some truly incredible people here and I'd like to see if I can regain those vibes. I've left my Jr. VIP active to support BHW, as the wealth of knowledge I've gained here is well worth the cost of membership, but still. It sucks to not be able to really contribute and otherwise enjoy it like I once have, and all because of this damned popup!
In fact, I'm typing this in notepad, just to copy and paste because I cannot type such a lengthy message on the platform because once that popup appears and I click the "I've Disabled AdBlock" button, it refreshes the page. It's annoying as hell!
On mobile, it's worse. Honestly, I don't know what to do. I'm just posting this here and wishing that someone will see it and fix it.
