Poll: shorts + long form or not ?

The premise is important: from your own and acquired EXPERIENCE. And according to this experience of yours, you may give 1 answer, or two, i.e for each case (one channel, and multiple channels).

Note: I may launch a second poll afterwards regarding the relationship between the shorts and the long form videos, but that will depend upon the result of the first one here.

Sharing shorts can help you get more views on your other videos too because they're easy to watch and more people can reach them. If they like your shorts, they may visit your channel, watch the other videos and subscribe your channel. This can be a good way to grow your channel I guess.

I think it's best to use short form to summarize long form and essentially redirect users to it.

From my experience, people's attention span is so bad that shorts is what most are watching these days.

OK. I guess you mean: redirect to another channel. So, why not within the same channel ?
(I agree with the problem of people's attention span and of course this standard was set by TT whose band wagon YT has simply jumpt on).
