POLL: Has anyone had success using HARO for contractors?

I'm thinking about signing up for HARO (help a reporter out)
I was wondering if anyone had success using HARO for contractors?

My client is a top-rated roofing company in Florida (500+ 5-star google reviews) and I have created a nice website for them.
So I believe I would be able to at least show authority with my responses.

When I watched youtube videos about HARO I never saw any contractor or roofing questions.
So I'm not sure if its worth it to do for my roofing niche.

You can answer any queries that you can relate to. It can be general business, recruitment, marketing, or anything else. It just has to make sense and has to apply to the workings of your business (which have a lot of parallels as any other business). You can even answer personal queries and link to your site as a business owner. You have to be a bit creative, as long as your responses are good you will be fine.

The only thing about HARO is that you have to write a coherent answer, and you have to do it as quick as possible. It's hard to get placements since journalists are flooded with responses, especially with all the GPT stuff going around.

It's a numbers game, just make sure your answer is catering to the intent of the reporter.

Timing matters. So far only ones I've had success with are the queries I pitched to within 10-15 minutes of it being posted on HARO.
Make sure to build rapport with the reporters that do accept your pitch. That way they sometimes don't bother with HARO at all and decides to ask for your pitch directly in case it's query related.
