I have been using excessive pc since I was 12. Now I'm 25. I haven't required to wear eyeglasses yet.

I've had horrible astigmatism since I can remember. I choose glasses more often than not because toric lenses tend to leave a lot to be desired.
 
If I were to buy a car I'd likely get glasses too, other than that I don't really need them. :)

Althou maybe I should buy a stylish pair just to look slightly more geeky when talking about IT and stuff.
 
I wear shades cool as fook! lol no I wear contacts now I can't stand wearing glass. I do have glasses though for when I need to take a few days break from contacts.
 
Been using my PC for 12 years now. But excessively for 9 years, no glasses till now.
 
Wearing glasses since i use computer.
The only bad thing about this is whenever i go to beach for swim 'I CAN'T SEE' those hot chicks.

I got reading glasses at age 42... but didn't need any before then... ;) I didn't wear them alot at first but now I have to wear them to use the computer or play games on my phone... lol

BUT I HATE 'EM... more than my ex
 
I got my first eyeglasses about 5 months ago. They are great to see sharply, but I just use them when I get tired, because that's when they really help. I avoid using them more aften as they do worsen sight a lot as you get used to them.

My little sister does, and after being on a PC every day for the past 6 years, my eyes are screwing up too. Damn being near sighted...
 
For five years now. Never really understood why people are ashamed of wearing them. I was more ashamed of not being able to see where I walk, or not being able to follow classes even if I understood the subject better than the rest of my class.

I have tried wearing contacts, but just can't handle them. Fucking burns my eyes out.
 
I am very fortunate. I've been looking at a PC screen for 5-10 hours each day for the past 12 years and have perfect vision. I can see a lizard crawling on the ground 110 feet away - no joke.

I've had headaches all my life and when I was younger, it was suggested that I have a vision test since I may have eye problems. The doctor asked me to read the smallest line and I read, "Copyright... Made in..." She said my eyes were perfect and sent me home.

I've never met anyone that can see as well as I can. While in a restaurant, I can see a TV 70' across the room and tell you what the bottom ESPN scroller says on a 40" TV

One downside is that my wife cannot see very well and I have on occasion pointed out something that is dirty but hard to notice by others. It doesn't make her happy because she has already cleaned the area.

But it is a blessing and something I hope I maintain for a very long time.

But my sister, dad, mom, and grandparents do wear classes/contacts.
