hello :)

I just wanna say Elementor is fu**ing my site every time, in Google speed always gets bad results when I'm using it.

Now, I wanna try a new page builder, so pls tell me what do u think is the best lightweight page builder I can use.

Why do we even need a page builder to build/customize a website?

GeneratePress+GenerateBlocks is the best combo if you´re a speed/performance enthusiast and don´t want to hand-code everything.

I'm using GeneratePress+GenerateBlocks but I'm using build to customize my site

Gutenberg (and by extension, Generateblocks) is a builder in and of itself dude :anyway:

This said, obsessing with this topic is for mad men. You can achieve a shit speed score with the best out there, namely Oxygen or Bricks or the brand-new latest released this month builder, that claims to be the best, and at the same time, you can excel with Elementor.

Speed is not about a single plugin builder. It's about your hands (and know-how)

I must say that I can achieve a wonderful score with any single plugin in that list (except for the ones that I've never touched maybe, like Beaver), but I prefer a wide variety of options to focus on which builder gives the right tools for each situation.

If I need a quick stunning site, I can do this with Elementor + Elementor kits, and with some optimization, I could achieve a top score in ten times less time, than a perfectly optimized Oxygen site done from scratch for example.

+1 - Gutenberg is the future in WordPress, learning that will pay off in the long run.
I agree with this, but I cannot be 100% sure of that long run if I'm honest.

Personally, I like to develop some blocks for Gutenberg when I need them, and now with the integration of WP Show Posts Pro with Generate blocks, I'm completely delighted with the extended functionality.

Still, I see that more builders are arising every day and many themes/no-themes are specifically made for such with a lot of gracefulness (like Hello for Elementor).

I'm probably the #1 hater of Elementor and I'm always complaining with my colleagues on how Elementor is constantly screwing my sites, but the same time, I have to admit that it has and it is still saving my web dev life every day. And all I see is that Elementor is growing bigger every day!

This is the problem Elementor growing bigger but they don't fix the problems with speed score

Are you trying to get a good website speed just by installing the plugin and letting it go?

You need to implement by yourself all optimizations possible. They are introducing some "beta" features for such, but I would not rely yet on them.

I got elemntor pro and astra pro and all plugins and addons for life. But I use Gutenberg for blogging, and sometimes elementor blocks within it.
It is what it is, not a website speed junky who sepnds hours upon hours trying to improve 0.25 secs.
So there you have it.
(Casted my vote for oxygen)

You forgot to say "technically" so it wouldn´t "sting" as bad :D :P

Have you used Protheme? I've just purchased but I can't activate Bricks Builder. I would contact Protheme but the only way to contact them is via WhatsApp which I refuse to use.

Bricks Builder is a theme just like Divi, not a plugin

Gutenberg alone is enough.
Just install a Gutenberg compatible theme like Generatepress or Neve (you can get their pro add-ons on this forum).

I recommend Gutenberg. It is the best on the list.

Gutenberg is good though i use elementor max time . but if you main tain server and minify your java script and all it may appers faster
