Police Chief David Brown blamed "snipers," but it was unclear how many shooters were involved in Thursday's attack. Authorities initially said three suspects were in custody and a fourth dead, killed by a robot-delivered bomb in a parking garage where he had exchanged fire with officers. Hours later, officials were vague and would not discuss details.

While perhaps a banned subject because the other thread was closed, I find it absolutely insane that the police in the United States would resort to using bombs to kill suspects. While never wise to kill a cop in the US because all the police will be hunting for you with the intent of killing you, this is the first time in my 57 years that I have ever heard of the police killing a suspect using a bomb.

wow, that is pretty insane!

they have laws now where you are allowed to do that or is that a greyzone?

Why does the method really matter?

The Washington Post is best equipped to answer you:

The move represents a potentially unprecedented use of robots to deliberately deliver lethal force in domestic policing, according to experts, raising questions about how local law enforcement are deploying the high tech tools that increasingly fill their arsenals.

However, some similar tactics have been used in war zones, he said. In his book "Wired for War," Singer noted incidents when American troops in Iraq jury-rigged primitive remote-controlled robots to deliver antipersonnel mines into alleys where they believed insurgents were hiding out.

While most of us in the US have known for sometime that the police mentality is a war against the US citizens, this is the first time that we have had visceral evidence of the police using war tactics against the citizens. The US Constitution guarantees all citizens a trial with legal representation, not just those that the police choose not to execute.

What are you so worried about, you seem hyped up and paranoid about everything? The police and government ain't out to get you.

So because he reads and cares about the news he's paranoid? Maybe ready what he said and it would answer your question.
